BrokenGold.com is actually the same company as Sellgold.com. You can read our Sellgold.com review here. Also you can read about them in the fox news review of cash for gold companies. According to them, Broken Gold pays out the least of all the cash for gold companies that they reviewed. I’ve had similar experiences with them.

You’re going to be much better off going with one of the other cash for gold companies that pay out in the range of 85-95% rather than 30-40%. I don’t think I’m the only one who prefers to get double the cash for his gold.

CashforgoldUSA is a company that actually lists the prices that they pay right on their site. You can see right here what they pay. But the prices are in pennyweights (dwt). To get the prices in ounces multiply by 20. So actually what they pay out isn’t quite a high as first glance. You can get around 95% of the current spot price of gold if you can find the right refiner. If the prices on their site are current, they pay under 80%. Which isn’t terrible but it’s not great either.

But the good news is that their shipping is fast and they have a great turn around. Overall I wouldn’t say Cash For Gold USA is a scam, but you can get more for your gold with another refiner.

As you can see from their commercial, they don’t mention how much they pay. If you check out their site they also don’t have their prices listed anywhere their either. This is usually a pretty big warning sign.

I won’t comment on all the obvious fake endorsements since that’s how these types of commericals go but if you notice they say they have a “double your money guarantee”. I can say from experience that’s bullshit. Not only do they not pay top dollar, it’s not even close. And when you try to get your gold back they make you jump through hoops. They wanted me to pay to get my gold back even though I found another buyer willing to pay more.

If I were you I would avoid these guys because their are a lot better gold buyers out there. Just because a site ranks well for “sell gold”, doesn’t mean that they are a good company.
